Bargemon revives the workings of its mill, considered one of the most beautiful in the Var
An association intends to restore all its letters of nobility to the 18th century communal oil mill in Bargemon, considered one of the most beautiful in the Var. Visiting places.

The only survivor of the seven existing mills in this Var village, the Bargemon oil and gasoline mill dates from the 18th century.
The wear and tear of time has left its mark and damaged, among other things, the mill wheel. Work is also necessary to restore the roof, the facade and the stone millstone, still in use, and the exteriors, left abandoned. Thanks to your donations, the future of the Bargemon mill will be assured, as a living museum and a friendly place to transmit ancestral milling values.

To say that passion drives Catherine Pelissou is an understatement. The president of the Moli d'Oli association is carrying out a project to rehabilitate the Bargemon municipal mill with strength and energy.

Crushing 2022/2023
At the end of 2022 and despite a year without olives, the harvest still reached 17 tonnes. Thanks to the faithful and new contributors from the 4 corners of PACA, we have succeeded in producing quality oil with a yield of 17%.
